I am gonna post some pix of my boy, Arnie, just coz I can really. And tell a story.

We went to Simmo's Beach this morning. It's a river side beach type thing on the south western suburbs of Sydney. I've never been there before, but thought I would go exploring. He lost his mind. Running and scooting and zooming and having a blast. I went there with the intention of getting him to do some swimming. It's winter here in Australia at the moment, so no way am I going in there, but he's a water dog. He should be fine.

So at first we were just walking and hes running and sniffing and waiting for me to catch up and all the jazz. Splashing in the water but nothing serious. I found a stick and got him interested in it and threw it in. He would only go as far as his chest and then, no deal. I had to find a bunch more sticks and encourage him, and eventually he went in, doggy paddled to the stick and brought it back. I was pretty happy with that.

So, some photo's (oh btw, he's riding on the back of the ute now as well, coz he's gonna be a brute).

Waits for our American and English friends to say "ute"? Heh, so Aussie/Kiwi, I love it. Arnie is so handsome and it's so lovely seeing/hearing about his fun trip to the beach!

Hey, I watched Neighbours. I know what a ute is ;)

I don't think we really have them. Pickups are subtly different, I guess.

Arnie's a handsome boy and it sounds like he had a great outing :)

I would have said "pick-up". Yay! Arnie looks like he's enjoying his swim. Love love love the smiley picture - he's a real star.
