jasper is 20 month now he as grown up over the last couple of months, we walk with a lady who as 5 dogs all different breeds, youngest being 6 to 13, this morning we did our normal walk with the pedometer, it was an 8 mile walk, jasper was off lead for 7 miles, the other lady as all 5 off lead,he never wonders off unless he sees water, he as got to put his toe in every inch of water, i just carry on walking a few yards and recall him, he runs straight back to me, i don't use any high value treats, for a reward i take a handful of his breakfast for treats, we meet lots of dogs most off lead jasper will go over to greet them if they tell him off he just moves away,i am constantly training him when we are on our walks, he is learning off the other dogs we walk with, he never goes over to joggers or bikes, we walk in the play area , dogs have got to be on lead in there, its a big fear as kids are dripping ice cream, he does not jump up as i constantly told him no it is not acceptable at home he as turned into the perfect pet, i don't need to move anything out of reach, he as stopped stealing socks, tea towels ect after our 8 mile walk it is rest time, NOT ALL GOOD HE STILL BURST CUSHIONS,apart from the cushion munching i have the perfect boy the training is still on going, he is very happy an loves loves to please photos from the walk, he was off lead a little distance from the play area but he was sitting ever so good[/URL this mornings walk
