Hattie and I braved it this afternoon through the wind and extremely heavy rain only to be mugged by a Choc Lab. On our way home a lovely little Springer appeared followed by an extremely large round Choc Lab called Dylan who's head was the size of a basket ball. He proceeded to flatten poor Hattie who was shocked and a little frightened . Not content with that he then started on me, luckily I managed to stay upright which wasn't easy as I bet Dylan weighed almost as much as I do He wasn't nasty just over excited . The owner just shouted from the wooded track "Sorry"he didn't come to check that we were OK or to remove his dog, just off he went whistling in vain for Dylan to return. Hattie and I legged it - shame Charlie wasn't with us as he is the master of legging it ;D Helen xx
