I don't have the black one, but the red one is lovely, isn't it? Really vibrant :)

The Pig now has seven  but but but one has got snowflakes on so that’s just a winter collar right? So actually only six collars. And some she can’t wear in the mud. And one’s a bit narrow so I don’t count that. And I had to buy a flowery one to stop everyone calling her a good boy at training, so that was necessity really. And one has pigs on, so that was also a necessity. So not excessive at all when it comes down to it.

She has them hanging on the edge of her nest and I choose one each day depending on the weather and my mood :)

I really should be buying baby things by now rather than dog collars

Babies only grow out of their stuff. Quickly. Might as well buy collars for Princess Pig.

Ginny has one collar. With snowflakes. It will be mid 30s most of this week and she will still be wearing it.

You could but someone might call social services. Wearing dog collars is strictly for consenting human adults.

When I had my son, for the first 5 years of his life everything from clothes, shoes, toys etc. came from friends, boot sales, charity shops, eBay (babies especially grow out of things so quickly so you get good quality, barely used stuff for a fraction of the price).

So, money saved on your baby is money for collars right? You don't want the Pig to feel left out . . . .

Exactly! And the Pig is not growing, so her collars will last longer. It’s the only prudent thing really.

Stanley only has one collar, maybe I’m a bad Doggy mam.

But it’s a very nice collar. And it’s Barbour. And it actually cost more than anything in my wardrobe did.. so surely that gets me off being a bad mam :D
