So far his temperament has been amazing, as our previous experience has been American lab/mix's. I had a question about the "dandruff" is this something that will pass as he matures? OR should I look to treat say with a bath and a puppy shampoo of some sort?
Welcome to you and your beautiful pup. He is gorgeous. I'd say you need to talk to your vet about his dandruff. There are several things it could be caused by.
