As you probably know, most forums send out their newsletters via the forum server. There can be all kinds of problems with this, especially as the forum gets bigger and emailing more members puts an extra strain on the server. For this reason I have decided to get the forum email newsletter running via Aweber. This company is the ‘go to’ email distributer and run an excellent service with total security for subscribers emails. Aweber are intent on stamping out spam, so the system is double opt-in. If you want to receive forum emails you’ll need to subscribe and then you’ll also need to reply to your confirmation email. I’ll be using the list to send out information about competitions, updates to the forum, and general news. There will also be some information to help new members find their way around, post photos etc. I’ll post up the link to the list shortly - this post is just to give you chance to ask any questions, make suggestions, and think about whether you want to join. I’ll also send out PMs with the link over the next few days
