Means Amy can see the main road and footpath. It's quite far away from the house but she has started barking when she sees people. Thank goodness it's not every time. How can we stop this becoming a problem? I shut the blinds but it upset her and she started to look worried.
Re: No leaves Jade you are on training fire!I should be,it's an extra days holiday today for The Prophet Mohammed's Birthday ( also my SIL's and Reuben's ;D ;D ;D ) instead I am sitting catching up on everyone's news and activities and being truly indolent and reading about training not actually doing any! Do you use a clicker with Amy?I remember an article called Click for Quiet.I didn't use it as I was quite a way along teaching Dexter a quiet command ( a situation was coming up where I needed to be able to ask him to stop barking,I didn't actually want to stop him barking in general)we used the doorbell to get him barking in the first place, then c&t in a lull, added the cue 'quiet 'and a fingers on lips hand signal...it's a bit of a party trick now as he'll stop just if we put our fingers on our lips......until visitors voices start and then he can't contain himself and let's a burst of barking out!more training required! X
Re: No leaves Poor puppy has been neglected over Christmas. And it shows.... I tried to " charge" the clicker again this morning but had filled her bowl up so wouldn't take the kibble, waited for the whole bowl! I have a I pad now so easier to ask questions but also easier to read all the other posts too!
