Our girl (8 years on Dec 28) has had a runny nose with clear discharge, no more than normal eye "boogs," and a few sneezes. Monday night of this week, one side of her nose was dry and inflamed. Wednesday it looked like it cracked and bled a little bit so I applied ointment and took her to vet on Friday. We were given rilexine to treat a mucus membrane infection. Dr says if no improvement, nasal adenocarcinoma is a high possibility. We go back in 10 days. We're praying our girl will be okay. Has anyone experienced any of these types of symptoms before?

Hello and welcome to the forum. So sorry that your dear friend is ill. I am sure the vet will do their best for her. What is your girls name? I have never come across this before, maybe some other member will be able to help you. Fingers crossed that all will be well for her.

Hi and welcome, and very sorry you have this worry over Christmas. Wishing you and your girl all the best and hoping it is just a cold or similar.

Welcome. I am sorry I have had no experience of this either, but is there any chance she might have something stuck up her nose?
