His poo was a little on the slack side yesterday but as he is a big time scavenger , I didn't worry unduly as he seemed fine in himself . I woke just before 4 this morning , he was crying to be let out , and then as I put the lights on , saw that he had emitted explosion all over the house He hasn't ever had an accident as an adult dog so this is new for Sam . Rubber gloves and disinfectant for over an hour, our Vet is open at 8.30 thank goodness, good grief its never ending . Poor lad, he is upset at what he has done , and Millie is upset too , its only just turned 6 and on my third coffee , poor Sam
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh Kate, poor Sam. Charlie did exactly the same before last Christmas. It was a tummy bug, needed antibioctics to clear it. You are having such a run of bad luck with poorly dogs. I hope things start to look up soon.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Thanks Julie , we will be on Davids doorstep at 8.30 , no breckie for Sam , how can one dog poo so much ?
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh dear, I bet it was such a mess. Poor Sam. Hopefully, he'll soon be more comfortable.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh poor you to have this just after the problems with Millie. Hope poor Sam's tummy clears up quickly.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Just thinking Kate, loads of dogs on my doggy FB site have had D&V this week. I think there is a bit of a bug going round. Certainly seems to be goi g around humans this week too :-\ Let us know how you get on at the wet and hairy man
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh poor Sam. And poor you with the clean-up operation. Certainly seems to be something going round at the moment, loads of dogs have had it. Hope he settles soon.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Paul has taken Sam , I just walked Millie round the village and a lady told me that there are two dogs suffering the same thing so yes, sounds like a nasty bug , saving grace is that Millie hasn't got it, yet xx
Re: Now Sam is poorly Poor Sam and poor you with all the clearing up so early in the morning. It does sound like a bug going round, wishing him well very quickly.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Vet David doesn't think it is a bug, Sams temperature is spot on and he hasn't been sick , he knows what a devil he is for eating his finds , so he thinks this is the likely culprit,, especially as Millie is fine . He has had a very large shot of Metronidazole and tablets to start tomorrow , currently sleeping, no doubt dreaming of what else he can find and devour , white fish and rice for tea Sam
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh no, poor Sam :'( I hope he gets better quickly xx fingers crossed Millie stays well xx
Re: Now Sam is poorly So sorry to hear about Sam, poor lad, he must have been desperate to go in the house. I hope he is feeling better and enjoys his rice and fish this evening. Alice
Re: Now Sam is poorly Ah poor you and Sam. Good news is that it isn't a bug so Millie will be safe. Get well soon Sam.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh dear! Poor Sam - yes that would have distressed him. (If it was explosive have you check the ceiling?)
Re: Now Sam is poorly
Oh dear! Poor Sam - yes that would have distressed him. (If it was explosive have you check the ceiling?)
No David, but I did wash the skirting boards and walls, say not more :
Re: Now Sam is poorly Aaah poor Same, hopefully the meds will work their magic and he will be back to normal very soon.
Re: Now Sam is poorly Oh poor Sam and poor you! You are having a rough time Hope he bounces back quickly. Mira was at the doggy self-service this week, but fortunately furry poos and wind that would strip wallpaper were the only side effects
