When we got Odin from day one we took very seriously health and training. Training is very easy and fun. Health also seems is great. The only concern is Odins look. Well here it goes... he is in he's 7 months 34 kg and 68 cm tall. What comes to displasia, we are negative. Should I be worried?

Re: Odin is 7 months old. Is he to big? Hi and welcome!!! Where are you measuring to? You should measure to the top of his shoulder when he is standing. If he is actually 68cm at the shoulder then he's a very tall dog.

Re: Odin is 7 months old. Is he to big? He looks fine to me, some Labs are tall. I have just measured one of my Labs and he is 61cms (about) and weighs 30kg, though he is now 2 years old, but hasn't grown much in the last year or so.

Re: Odin is 7 months old. Is he to big? Well, he's certainly a big boy, but too big? He is what he is, right? I think he looks gorgeous, and healthy. I'm not an expert on labrador standards, mine is a Lab/Newfie cross, he's quite tall, too, but not sure the exact measurement and I can't find my measuring tape right now. Your boy will likely not grow any taller, but will start to fill out a bit over the next few months.

He's the tallest Labrador I've heard of, but there is quite a range of shapes and sizes out there. My previous Labrador was 61cm, like Stacia's. The one we have now is 56cm and he seems tiny to me by comparison to my last dog
