Awww good luck! He'll be fine. It's a relatively simple op but I know you will worry about him. Look forward to a peaceful evening as he'll be wanting to sleep it off tonight!

Good luck jasper. It will be a very long day for you Lynne.

My old lab was neutered when he was 9 . He was fine back to normal by the next day and considering he'd had his 'bits' for 9 years didn't seem to miss them. ;)

Try not to worry and take care. :)

Try not to worry if this evening he whines a bit and is restless, this will pass in a couple of hours. I found my Lab was very hungry, I gave him a small meal, he was still upset, so later I gave him another small meal and he settled. Next day he was absolutely fine.

Good luck Jasper. He'll soon bounce back love him. Meg was hungry after she was spayed even though vet said she wouldn't want to eat and I gave her chicken and she wolfed it down. Back to normal next day.

Thinking of Jasper. How is it going? Has he gone in yet. Milly is still sleeping it off but doing well.

He will be ok, Lynne, don't worry :) The anaesthetic can make them feel woozy and disoriented but it wears off. He will be back to normal in a couple of days, or sooner. If you can act cheerful, even if you don't feel like it, that will help him to feel normal too :)
