Went for a new walk today, exploring new fields by one of the local farms.
    Pongo found the slurry pit.
    And fell in.

He looks delighted with himself. Even after 20 minutes of being hosed down in the garden then dried off with several towels, he is still seriously living up to his name.

    ::) :p :-[ :eek:

I can almost smell him from here! ;)

Glad you are both OK other than the assault on your nose (slurry pits can be dangerous places).

Oh dear. It sounds like a bath is imminent.

The smell is UNBELIEVABLE. Even after hosing down, towelling, and half a bottle of 'no rinse' dog cleaner.
I wouldn't mind so much if he didn't look so incredibly smug. ::)

Oh dear, a slurry pit is a very dangerous thing to fall in as well as very pongo/y!

He has a lot to be smug about. He thinks he smells irresistible :)

Are you sure he fell in?

Perhaps he thought he was bathing in some irresistible perfume just for you.

And you are such an unappreciative human

Molly and Hollysdad, I think you are right. I just can't appreciate classic perfume.

I should really ask Holly's opinion.

When the football is over we are going to have another go with the no-rinse dog shampoo.

Holly will give a resounding "YES" and want to know where he got it from :)

I just hope the stench has worn off before our Bristol walk.
Pongo says he'll have a word with Benson and give him the map coordinates, so you'd better not let him wander off too much. He'd like to show Harley and Holly too.

I guess that we'll have to drive home with the car windows open!
