Always been a cautious boy , not nervous , doesnt even blink at fireworks or gunshot but sometimes , I despair : It has taken me 20 months to tempt him to swim , letting him be so sure that he wont sink and now having got him over that hurdle and him loving the water, we have another issue of a somewhat delicate matter to deal with , wind : Not the weather type of wind but the back end type , twice over this past weekend , whilst sleeping, Sam has passed wind, his reaction is almost hilarious if it werent so downright silly . He immediately gets up , runs to the kitchen to go outside . Last night it was pouring with rain and he refused to come in, skulking about under the shrubs and looking thoroughly miserable .He is usually very obedient but in the end, due to the rain hammering down , I had to fetch his lead to get him back indoors but once in, he wouldnt go back on his big cushion , like he was blaming it for making this terrible thing happen . He will never make a gundog with this level of sensitivity and caution, poor love
Re: Oh for heaven sake Sam jasper looks at us as if we have done it, then hangs his head down hehehe he is a funny boy is sam
Re: Oh for heaven sake Sam Bottom burps can be very scary things! Poor Sam, big hug and slobber from me and Charlie.
Re: Oh for heaven sake Sam Absolutely hilarious ;D Sam is such a big softie. Is he trying to place the blame on someone else, perhaps?
Re: Oh for heaven sake Sam Wind is a very rare occurence for Sam , blinkin good job too, given his reaction ;D My theory is that he wants to go outside because he thinks he might poo , cant think of any other logical explanation , except that he is a complete wuss
Re: Oh for heaven sake Sam Snort!! You do wonder what their thought processes are at times, don't you? Silly boy, Sam....
