Did I imagine this or did somebody say you can get Advocate online and it's cheaper than the vets? My vet said most stores don't stock it .... so it has to come via a vet , but Drontal you can get from pet stores?
Re: Online wormer and flea treatments.... Morning Claudia! Hope you and Bella are well this lovely morning? I use Animed Direct as i get prescription drugs for my old lab for his athritis. I got some Drontal which the vet recommended. You just need to keep an eye on her weight so you give the right amount. How did last night go? Any better? Izzy has decided she wants to get up at 5.30am every morning which is so frustrating!
Re: Online wormer and flea treatments.... Hello, I'm feeling good today, thanks, second night running Bella slept from 10.15pm until 6.15am with no stirring, even when I went to the loo!! I heard her before she started whining at 6.15am so took her out for a wee, no lights on, then back in her crate, little whimper, but then back to sleep until 7.15am!! I just hope this continues!! Too scared to move her back to the kitchen just yet I want a steady week of this!!! Oh no , not you too!! can u not just put her back in her crate and ignore??? I realised now she's grown she also needed more food so I've upped her meal allowance as advised. She got very overexcited yesterday and bit my finger and nose and drew blood, nose in particular really hurt!!! Straight to time out she went!!!! I'll have a look at that site, Bella has frontline and milbimax at minute but in march I can change her to advocate and drontal I think he said , but I'd rather just weigh her at the vets and get that stuff cheaper elsewhere!!! ;D

Re: Online wormer and flea treatments.... Ive got some drontal plus but dont need them yet as vet gave her millibax a week ago when she had her last injection. I will use frontline for fleas etc.

Re: Online wormer and flea treatments.... You can't buy Advocate online without a vet's prescription, but you can buy Advantage with a scrip. It has the same flea protection ingredient as Advocate without the worming aspect that Advocate also provides. Drontal is widely available online without prescription, however just to let you know it upsets my pup. I gave it to him on 2 separate occasions and he was up all night whining and very restless, did not sleep at all. I changed to Milbemax and no reaction. Jan

Can you only get milbimax at the vets? She's had both as breeder gave her drontal and milbimax. I've hear advocate is good that's why I'm thinking of changing ??? Jan [/quote]
Re: Online wormer and flea treatments.... We get advocate online with a prescription from the vets that cost £12 and £21.74 for 6 months worth so works out much cheaper
