    Hello,

I’m looking for some advice about my Lab. She is coming up to 3 years old, great around the house and great on walks, however when we go to the park she is so excited she is very hard to control. We get to the park and she pulls me all the way to the first field and she goes off the lead and has a great time, but sometimes when I take her to new places in the car she can’t go off lead and run around, so she pulls me forever! As I say she’s fine on the walk, but whenever she goes in the car she thinks she’s going to the park and is always insanely excited. Does anyone have any tips on how to calm her down in the car and calm her down when she first gets out?

Any Suggestions? Today went to the forest and the whole time she wined in the car for excitement and was very excited when we arrived. Bit more controllable than last time but still not great! Thinking of taking her in the car for short trips nowhere, returning back home, to see if she can stop thinking car = exciting place to be!

For the pulling on the lead- go back to basics, and never take a step forward if she's not at heel.
