We have wood and tile floors in our home, a couple of area rugs in some rooms but that's it. After two days of a slippy pupoy we bought some cheap rugs and put them down through our high traffic areas. It helps. But sometimes he walks and one paw goes off the carpet and hits the woid or tile and his leg slides out. He is only 11 weeks old and I am concerned he will harm his joints. My husband has read a bit about paw wax. I'm windering ifbit is sometjing beneficial you can use to help a pup gain more traction? Is it safe to use daily or is it only for occassional use, like in a show? Thanks
I use paw wax to help keep Harley’s paw soft and helps with cracking when it’s really dry and hot. It also helps protect in really cold weather and against salt. I’ve never heard it used to help with wooden or tiled floors, sorry. Someone else might know something different that may help
I think you'd be a lot better off buying a few more floor rugs. You can get very inexpensive, non-slip, rubber-backed ones.
Yes, I agree with @Karen, you can buy great non-slip vet bed. We have wooden floor and tiles and found vet bed invaluable. Great to throw in the washing machine in case of the odd accident too http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/...CAjwwbHWBRBWEiwAMIV7E6BIO5IRSNhtfcX0w5VvqquAh
