    Hi everyone,

My nearly 8mth old (in one week)pup, had her spay operation today. She was subdued when I picked her up and then didn't want food, BUT that didn't last long...she's been having kongs through the evening...:)And is already starting to be herself. I've pretty much contained her in her crate...

On an earlier post, I said I'll wait...but changed this decision.

Kongs are good for this situation where they have be quiet... Pearl has them every day for breakfast anyway and one now at bedtime...

Sounds very hopeful for a trouble-free recovery - just the difficulty in keeping he calm! Good luck.
