Scott quite often gets pimples on his chin very similar to Dex's. No idea why or what they are. The vet didn't seen to know but wasn't worried about them. They just go away. Sometimes they can be quite big and he knocks them. Kate's Sam has or had them as well. Fingers crossed Dex's are the same and nothing to bother about.

Willow has teenage acne on her chin, so hopefully it'll just be a spot. That's quite common, apparently, and nothing to worry about. Best to get it checked out if you're worried, though.

Hi Angela , Sam used to get these a lot , our Vet said it was canine acne, nothing to worry about and just to keep the site clean , I used diluted Hibiscrub . They tend to grow out of it very suddenly , I remember one day looking at Sams chin and seeing them gone x

We are booked in tomorrow,it's ever so slightly bigger today,it's more like a skin tag than a pimple...I'll let you know what we get told. Not bothering him at all,he's more irritated by me examining it all the time!

He's got a 'wart' euuuugh! Or correct term is viral papilloma. It will probably go of its own accord. When you look it up on the Internet the pictures are awful, poor doggies,Dexter's is nothing like that.Unless you look closely it just looks like a healed scab that is coming away from a tiny scratch...glad I took him,he's not been for a while so he got a good MOT and all is in good working order!

Waiting for the vets to open to go and get Dexter checked out.....
Whilst I was away on holiday this pigment patch has developed on his inner lower lip.....

I've watched it for a couple of days...it hasn't got bigger but it isn't budging.....it's totally flat and feels exactly like the rest of his mouth but worry, worry, worry as you know!

His papilloma is still there too...this is it today as he is lay next to me....

    Again,worry,worry,worry....

I know Google and the Internet is a diagnostic tool to be avoided but something that seems to be mentioned is a compromised immune system....how could he have that?He has such a healthy lifestyle.... Ok there's a pretty big argument that he hasn't got it,I've just decided at this point from Dr Google that he has...so let's see what the vet says....

Be interested in what the vet says - I bet '"that's a bit of skin with pigment missing"! :)

Charlie has a fair bit of pigment variation in his mouth, on both his gums and lips. Because of the colour of chocolate it is not noticeable compared to the dogs with black lips, I've had a few vets look (as I get his mouth and teeth checked every time he has has a general anaesthetic - so that's lots!) and they have all rolled their eyes at me..

Oh I hope I get an eye roll,I'm know I'm faffing but I'm so paranoid about skin changes with living in such harsh sun....and that pink patch is a quick and very definite change ,when his nose changes colour it's slow and gradual.Im sure it's nothing. It's 5 mins to the vet from me so its really, easy to pop in,she has the patience of a saint with me luckily x
