Possessive aggression

hi. My 15 month old chocolate lab has just shown a side to her I didn't know existed. She had something that she shouldn't have had and I went to take it off her. Omg I've never seen her act so horribly vicious towards me. It was so upsetting. Any advice as to what to do? Can it be sorted? Thanks

 

Hi, what did she have, how did you try to get it off her and how did she show "aggression"?

 

She had something that had had food in it. I tried to just take it off her and she growled fiercely as soon as I got close and I literally didn't dare put my hand any closer as I felt she would bite me
