Lincoln has been with us for three weeks now and it's going very well.. He gets along great with our Yorkie and Shih Tzu. They all play together really good. They even share a few rope toys. Occasionally the Yorkie will get possessive and chase Lincoln of iif he tries for a toy.
Is this something I need to deal with ? If so what should I do?

You don't want to see any reactivity towards PEOPLE when it comes to objects or toys - but it is normal for dogs to do a bit of appropriate defending of items from each other. Otherwise they would just get stuff taken off them constantly. Usually, dogs that live together work out how to respect who has what and what distance to keep from each other when they have a valued item and usually you don't need to intervene.

Signs of needing to intervene would be if the reaction seems out of proportion to the offence. The dog 'told off' is left traumatised, for eg...
