    Hello
I have 2 x yellow labs who are 2 and was wondering whether it is worth giving them medication/fish from a young age which would help to reduce arthritus in older age?

Hi Louise, there's a vet run non biased non commercial website called caninearthritismanagement.go.uk. All the advice you'd ever need is on there.

My lab aged two has arthritis and it is a young dogs disease, so yes, absolutely preventative measures are hugely important. Weight control like keeping a body conditioning score of 4 or 5, exercise control (no more ball throwers), rugs on the floors to stop slipping are game changers.

Go look it up. It really is the best website out there. Hope that helps!
