Caddie didn't care if a dog was entire or neutered when she was in season. It was poor Murffi who was forced into co-operation by her ... totally against his will. ;D He is neutered! ;)

I agree with Heidrun, I suspect that most bitches don't care, many will simply offer themselves freely to all and sundry, including other bitches ;D

I was just going to say what Pippa has posted - I have seen bitches trying to persuade other bitches to mate with them...

Ah, bless Millie, no doubt she can't help it. (Poor Kate and Sam though, I bet Sam is pretty disapproving...).

I think Sam can relax a little now , Millie isnt constantly cleaning herself and this morning , she actually sat down when our friends castrated male came over to her and she growled at him . She is still bleeding slightly but nothing like it was , paler and more watery now so Sam, you are safe from the shameless one ;D

I don't think I've ever seen a dog flagging it's tail until perhaps this morning

The dog was wagging away when she and Riley said hello and then he tail went horizontal and looked almost a bit disjointed and then right round her body and stayed there. Riley looked a bit funny and I thought he looked like he might mount her    So I went and got him quick smart. Didn't think I'd test his recall!!

;D Its a sign that a bitch in heat is in receptive mode Barbara , it does look odd though , Millie would flick her tail upwards and then right to the side like an invitation I suppose :)
