Hi Mike, I'm really sorry that you are having troubles with the forum! Definitely not what we want to hear. Are you trying to upload photos? What are the kinds of things that are getting the 'unauthorised' message? We have some techy people but they're based in the UK, meaning they are asleep at the moment. But I hope that we will be able to sort out these problems so you can enjoy being a member of the forum.

Hi Mike, it sounds like you may be trying to upload pictures, is that right? No-one is allowed to upload pictures directly to the forum, we have to host them on a photo sharing service like Photobucket, Flickr or Imgur and then post the BBCode into the post here (it looks like [ IMG]....[/IMG]). There are a few posts in the Technical section of the forum which give more details for the individual sites. Once you get used to it, it's really very easy.

I do hope you try again; the forum is a great resource and a very friendly place to get advice and share stories.

Blinking computers, they make us sound difficult and unfriendly. NOTHING COULD BE FUTHER FROM THE TRUTH. We are a very friendly, helpful community with lots of sound knowledge and advice. When all else fails you will find a shoulder to cry on and lots of sympathy from people who have "been there, done that" and come out the other side.

Our Moderators are very helpful and friendly. I experienced problems logging in yesterday and I have been a member for over 2 years.

I fear you may have fallen foul of the security that keeps the malicious out, but do come on in the welcome will be warm.
