Pulling

    My 10 month old puppy is pulling a lot he was doing fabulously on the walk not pulling and then we had him neutered in october how can I fix this we seem to have gone downhill in that portion of his training

    I like to thoroughly teach heeling off-leash inside the house so they
    really understand heeling before they go on-leash walking.

    I teach my labs to sit every time I slow down while they are at heel.
    I think that helps because they pay attention to my leg movement.

    I also teach backwards heeling, so if they surge ahead, I backup which is a
    signal to the lab to back to the heel position.

    I do this with pups each day at feeding session so they understand in
    a distraction-free, highly-motivated state.
