Rusty is 8 months now and he looks like an adult lab, albeit a skinny one, everywhere except his head.
His face and the bone structure of his skull still seems so puppy like to me. So I am just curious as to if the transition will be gradual over the next year or has anyone noticed a sudden transition from squishy puppy features to blocky dog face? I'm just wondering how much longer I will have to enjoy those puppy dog eyes... I don't recall my other labs still having puppy faces past 6 months.

I think you will find he still has some growing to do and will fill out especially across the chest. People have only just started saying to me that Toby now looks like an adult dog and he will be two in November. Savour this puppy time you have left.

ok :) I kinda figured that would be the answer lol It's just so odd to look at him and think "he is 8 months." when what i am looking at is a lil tiny face.

The little chap in my profile pic is 16 months now and still has a puppy face. I'm hoping it stays!
