Just got my sweet Dudley yellow Labrador over the weekend. Currently feeding her what the breeder fed which is Purina one + puppy food. I see a lot of you feeding large breed food. Would I need to switch or continue with what I've got. She has a voracious appetite and eats over 3 cups a day.
My girl has been on Royal Canin Labrador since a puppy. For the first 18 months Labrador Puppy and thereafter Labrador Adult. She thrives on it, is very healthy and an excellent weight. She also gets an egg and sardines weekly and unsweetened, unflavoured natural Greek yoghurt.
Different dogs do well on different foods. If she's doing well on what she's on, I'd stick to that. Personally, I feed all my dogs and puppies raw as I like the benefits.
