Hi! So I’ve been searching the forum for a similar topic but so far what I’ve found is people NOT wanting their pups on couches. I have the opposite problem. I want my pup up on the couch, but haven’t been letting her do so as she is only just turning 5 months old. not sure when is the right age to allow her to jump up onto the couch? She’s obedient, and respond to ‘off’ well, so I am not worried about her not leaving the couch when I need her to. The couch is soft (duh) and we have placed a fluffy carpet around the couch so she can land on a soft surface as well. Is that good enough? Or should I wait till 18 months - when the growth plates close?
I love my dog sitting next to me on the sofa and he has done from a puppy. I would just make sure you invite her to sit with you and guide her down when she gets off for a few more months. That way she won’t be jumping up and down all the time.
So my puppy has figured out it's a great game to jump on the couch (he is not allowed up there) because it gets my attention. I live in an apartment so it's hard to restrict his access to it if I want him in the area while I work from home. Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin
