Our almost 7 mos old lab Cash was diagnosed with Parvo this weekend. Our pup was fully vaccinated with last of series given at end of March. Rabies given at 6 mos. No trips to dog parks no exposure to any dogs. Cash is in house or supervised in fenced backyard. He gets a daily walk 4:15 am on leash around the block. Our family has been rocked by this. We did everything right and yet our puppy is in hospital being treated aggressively. I guess this is a heads up. Don’t discount Parvo it is an incredibly virulent disease

I'm so sorry you are going through this and hope Cash makes a full recovery. You have done everything possible to keep your puppy safe. Unfortunately vaccinations sometimes do not give 100% protection. Wishing you all the very best.

Cash came home after 4 days of hospitalization..After 3 days of prescription canned food we transitioned slowly to arrive at this morning’s breakfast, his regular puppy food. his wonderful lab personality is back as is his energy. Feel blessed that there does not appear to be any lasting effects
Our boy just passed 7 mos and is 75 lbs
