Nice article, Pippa. I'm paranoid about LMS, so keep my eyes open for any signs of it. I'm really encouraged by having my two living apart during Willow's convalescence and neither of them is demonstrating any signs of distress at being separated. I think it's something I'm going to continue from time to time, sending one of them away on holidays for a few days.

I think there's a lot of luck involved with not having had any issues so far. My next worry is what will happen during puberty for the two of them, and whether changes in their hormones will make any difference to how they interact. There seems to be so little scientific information about it, and so much anecdotal evidence on both sides, with scaremongering and dismissiveness.

Maybe, but probably a lot more to do with the thoughtful and considered way you have approached the problem and the precautions that you have put in place. Sounds like you are doing a grand job :)
