Hi, My 15 week old puppy has begun soiling his crate at night. We let him out once in the night, and he is always clean and dry when we come down the first time, but when we come back again at the time to get up, he has soiled. He goes to bed every night at 9:45,his last meal is 5:30pm, we then walk him at 6:30. Last night we let him out at 4am and he went to the toilet. Yet when we come back down at 5:45 he had pooped again. He loves his crate, he takes himself in there voluntarily at various points in the day, he is happy going in at bed time and he eats in there too (his choice!), so I can't understand why he has started doing this. He has never soiled it in the day when we have gone out, only ever at night between his toilet break at 4am and his get up time of 5:45. Any advice would be appreciated.
