    Hello,

Our beautiful little puppy was weighed by breeders vet at 6w4d old and was only 1.34KG! Vet and breeder are apparently not too concerned as she is eating well etc but breeder is going to keep her for a few extra weeks until she is 11w/o. What reason could there be for this? Puppy seems happy and playful and doesn’t look skinny particularly, just very small. She was one of two particularly small pups at birth.

Mine was only 1.9kg at 9 weeks. He was teeny!

    He's a perfectly healthy 25kg now :)

Hi there, if breeder and vet aren't concerned, I wouldn't be either. You just have a smaller lab there, that's all! More important is that she is gaining weight consistently.

Wow my girl is tiny and is 3kg at 8 weeks but as said if vets are not concerned then don't worry all pups are different
