That doesn't sound off to me. :) Also, Don't know if this is your first Lab but in my experience, Lean is better for them in the long run! I am trying to keep this puppy that we now have on the lean side as she grows to try and not have weight problems down the road as I did with my last two!

Please don't think about how much a puppy should weigh, that's crazy thinking.

How much should a five year old child weigh? Really?

How much should an eight year old child weigh?

LOOK at your dog with your EYES and feel with your hands(!). You should be able to feel (not see) the dog's ribs. The dog should have a visible waist when looked at from the side or down from above. You should be able to see the last rib of the rib cage and where that ends and the waist starts.

Forget about feeding any amount on any packet - how many grams of pasta should a five year old child eat, per day?

We don't ask these questions about children, and we don't need to ask them about dogs either. Visually assess your dog - constantly - and adjust what you're feeding accordingly....

Willow was only 11kg at 18 weeks old she has always been on the skinny side.
She is 6 months old and about 18kg.
She is American/working type not the English bulky type.

    14kg at 6 months old.
As said above, don't worry about the weight, assess the dog in front of you.

Chewie is only 24kg at 12 months. I wouldn"t worry about it at long as your dog is in good condition and has plenty of energy.
