Is it excitement or over excitement when putting food in kongs or a slow feeder? Suggestions to discourage this?
Luna often 'plays' with new treats we give her. It is quite cute as it is like she is showing it she is in charge lol and her way of exploring what it is. She is 10 months today and still does it. It might be that it is too frozen for him, maybe take it out the freezer for 10-15 mins until a little softer before giving it to him.
Okay. I will try that. He seems to be frustrated. I worried it is not as calming as it is for other dogs.
It will be different as he is used to being able to get his food easily from the bowl. Hopefully when it is softer her will be able to get it out easier and enjoy it more.
