    Hi,
We will soon be receiving our Labrador puppy (yellow) which is now 6 weeks old, but when we last saw our puppy, we found that he has tear tracks (a brown-red colour) on both sides of his muzzle. These seem to have developed in the last week or so, as they weren't there when we saw him before. Has anyone had experiences with this, and if so did it fix itself overtime?
    Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. It's not normal for puppies' eyes to weep to that extent. What did the breeder say? Pup needs a vet check to see if he needs drops. It's very unlikely it will just fix itself. It's not unusual for puppies to get a bit of conjunctivitis (I had it with two out of my three pups) but it certainly shouldn't go untreated.

Hi and welcome. I agree with snowbunny, that doesn't sound right. The pup needs to go to the vets for a check up.

Yes, it’s caused by bacteria. I’m sure the vet will have a solution :)
