I was away at a conference recently for 4 days. During that time Chewie apparently did something he almost never does when I am around (apart from with his bed...) He repeatedly humped my OH, and sometimes humped his friend, who was staying over.

When I came home he immediately stopped and hasn't done any more humping.

We wonder if it is a weird manifestation of missing me? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I have to admit, I was highly amused. My OH was amused after the fact. Apparently it was a bit annoying at the time! :D

Humping can be a stress reaction, so yes I'd say Chewie was missing you.
