Yes we are having a good day. On our way back from a walk today we stopped off at the Paddock for Hattie & Charlie to have a play. I got the rabbit ball out and proceeded to throw it into some very long grass around the edges and some large bushes and off Charlie went full gusto hunting it out every time even with Hattie trying to throw him off course to play, he swerved her to get to me every time dropping it at my feet I'm frankly taking what I get with him : Helen x
Re: Rabbit Skin Ball - Part 2 Miles ahead of me Helen, well done, but you know what?above everything it sounds like you were having a great time ....I don't really how bad Charlies absconds were ..it was before my time ,but i know he had your heart stopping ! its just amazing when you pop a post on like that how far you have come with him,it's really lovely, great to be making the most of these last few weeks of reasonable autumn days...you are all going to becoming a bit more housebound just as we get released, yay! X
Re: Rabbit Skin Ball - Part 2 talking about housebound, both mark and i have noticed that when it rains you don't see anyone out with there dogs,.....we go out hail rain or snow.........i agree with angela you are doing a fantastic job with charlie
Re: Rabbit Skin Ball - Part 2 Thanks Angela, when he absconded he would disappear for anything upto 1 hour, so yes heart stopping indeed. It was just lovely to see him happy doing what he should do which has taken such a long time, but as always small steps with him. Autumn is upon us almost dark at 8 pm so winter is not far off What temperatures will you have soon? Helen x
