Dont know if anyone else feeds them ? Sam and Flynn have a raw egg once a week , Flynn being small has his cracked into a bowl but Sam loves to have one outside in the garden . He will play for ages, rolling it around on the lawn in its shell or carrying it from one place to another until the anticipation gets too much and he cracks it and eats it, shell and all :)

My puppy has raw eggs three or four times a week. She loves them!

I feed raw eggs occasionally and give them the shells to lick out if I'm having eggs or baking - this is a huge treat for my two. Slightly trickier sharing an egg shell now i've got 3 though...

Oh, I'm glad to hear this. I have been giving Pops a raw egg now and again, and was a little unsure about the shell... But from now on - in it goes as well! :)

My mob have always had raw eggs and will sit and wait for the shells when I'm baking! When it's a whole one Hebe walks about with hers until she's told she can have it and then throws it onto her back teeth to crack, but I had one girl who never learnt to crack them, she'd roll the egg around until it hit something hard, cracked and began to leak, poor Bramble was not the brightest of dogs ;)

Do you give them as part of meals or treats? ie if you give whilst you are baking do you then down their next meal of kibble?

I usually just give Sam a complete shell on egg as a treat , but also just add a raw unshelled egg to his kibble every so often , dont bother lessening the ammount of kibble for this :)

Just read all your posts, and so gave Otis a beaten egg with his kibble tonight, think he quite liked it, and must be quite good for him , too. Maggie

We had a lab decades ago, Mr Bailey could open the fridge door, and he was quite partial to the odd half a dozen eggs. I'd never thought of giving any of our lot an egg. Will definitely try it!

It's not that I feed Finley a raw egg as a treat,

he just nicks them from the side when he wants. ::)

Something else to move. ;) Our kitchen is looking mighty bare at the moment!!
