Would anyone here be able help with advice on how to feed a 7 week old Doberman a balance raw diet?
Hi Mitra, Welcome to the forum!
I don't have a lot of personal experience of raw feeding but there is lots of information in this article on the main site. Hope it helps!
Buy in bulk from Walmart -- beef, turkey, tilapia, gizzards, liver (only 10%). . . and chicken quarters, if your dog doesn't develop an intolerance to chicken like mine. A squirt of salmon oil every day from Amazon. Bone is essential for calcium. Mine gets a pork neck every day. They are cheap which is a good thing. Mix it up occasionally with rabbit, duck. There are online sources for those items --simplyrawsomeus for example. 1.5 - 2 % of dogs weight per day split AM & PM. Make in advance and freeze. Google for tons of info on portions and other ideas. Been doing this for almost 3 years now and except for chicken issue mine is strong and lean.
Nice thank you for comments. It has been a few...he has been on a mostly chicken raw diet adding variety here and there. I feel confident with it now I was definitely overthinking what he was needing.
