8.5 week Pup seems to jump on my 10 year old human child more, tries to chew her clothes etc I think pup likes her long hair so we tie it back. Pup has got a bit near child’s face a couple of times. Sure it’s normal and we have to teach human child to respond but any tips? Thanks

Our puppy loves my long hair (and I’m 31!). We noticed that he would bite me more too.

My husband noticed that I would play on the floor quite a bit with our puppy, and once I stopped that, the hair biting stopped.

With the biting, we referred heavily to the “help! My puppy bites!” article on this site. It was very helpful and by following this advice, he is now 20 weeks and does not bite. He is teething badly at the moment and often brings a toy to knaw on instead of my hand

Our lad loves people and especially small people. With his dog trainer, we’re teaching him how to say hello on the floor instead of jumping up. I wish we had started this training sooner, but he is making good strides.
