I put some ice packs that came with the dogs raw food today outside to defrost so i could then put them in the bin. Barley had other ideas about this.

Barley decided that he loves ice and wanted to eat it (it was just plain ice, not any nasty stuff in it) but ended up in a tug of war with me over a pack of ice i would not let him have, even a biscuit did not tempt him to open his mouth, his jaw was locked, he anted the ice and was not happy about me ruining his fun, he eventually but very reluctantly gave it up.

First time he has guarded anything not high value, unless he now counts ice as a high value treat ???.

He also had another go at puzzle not long before this, thats why he as shut outside. Only because he smelt lamb chops cooking and decided that puzzle was not getting a sniff even though he was the one in the kitchen and puzzle was out of the kitchen and he came out after smelling lamb chops and went for her. No damage done just a soppy puppy scared of grumpy again

Just a little edit for an unfortunate typo - Barbara :)
