Does he look anything like a Pitbull? ??? Getting a bit ridiculous now....must be those little ears!

Just walked past a lady , twitching needlessly as Dexter trots along on his park walk....mostly nice walking too.I stopped him in a sit and said dont worry he's really friendly .....and she replies ,oh I'm sorry I'm just really scared ,especially of dogs like pit bulls!i actually started laughing because I do think its hilarious!he wasn't even doing his 'Glare of Death'! I think pit bulls are a banned breed here too ,so I don't think she has too much to worry about.....
This was a funny story until it turned a bit dark......I tried to find a picture of a yellow pit bull to put up,to compare .....oh there are some dreadful images that come up :(

Definitely a streak of killer Labrador puppy there. ;D + LoL.

I took out pet insurance for Lady when my daughter first got her home at 8 weeks old and the next question on the form after her date of birth was "Has your dog ever been trained as an attack dog?"

Good grief.......its such an upsetting subject.
Changing the subject slightly ...my vet had pet insurance leaflets in reception today ,there's a company that has started to offer it,result....although I hope we never need it....

LOL! But so sorry you didn't take the forum points offer by saying "yes, pitbull crossed with fighting dog of cordoba with a bit of Chinese crested, accounting for the no hair - so Stand Back!"

Yeah, missed opportunity there, Angela!!! ;)

You have to admit that Dexter is a little bit dangerous - I mean, he might cuddle a person to death, or even lick their face to within an inch of their lives, or smile so much that the recipient human is at risk of perishing from sheer happiness!!!! Or he might wag to the extent that he creates a whirlwind that sucks us all straight up into the sky!!! So the lady did have a point....

    Re: Really?

You are right about the wagging there Rachael......this dog can wag!

Julie, where was my brain.....of course! I could have gone right to the top of the league in blagging a dopey member of the public couldn't I!!

I'm loving the Pittador Karen, his toughtie( ::) ;D ) demean our is further enhanced by the fact his shaved head hasn't grown back properly YET!! He looks a right jumble sale of a dog with his patchy head and DIY splint...poor Dex! :(
