So my lab is about a year old and has had some trouble over the past 3 months. Took her to the vet to have her hips and back checked but the couldn't come up with anything conclusive. She first started being uncomfortable after a her first long run up and down hills about 6 miles. Since then her condition has varied from favoring right side to left side. But after she would get active and moving she would not care or show much of any discomfort. I took her to the vet and they did xray of her lower back and hips and said that they did not see any signs of anything specific, such as hip dysplasia. Now I'm doubtful in the diagnosis after looking through other xrays and watching videos and reading up on it. The other day she had a small slip on the ice and caught herself with her rear legs and has changed her tone on which leg and how badly hurt she feels. Does anyone have a similar issue that I could look into or can possible confirm or deny hip dysplasia as the cause? I will try attach the xrays to the thread.
