    Hey!
So my almost 6 month old black lab has had 5 UTIs (starting at age 7 wks). She also has puppy vaginitis. One UTI was after a very bad stomach bug. She recently had a kidney work up and ultrasound. The vet said kidneys looked slightly enlarged, but this could just be normal for her. If she has another UTI after she finishes this round of antibiotics, she will need to see an internist. We also started her on UT Strength. I’m concerned about all the UTIs. It has been VERY hard to house train her. She still has accidents from time to time and can only hold her urine at most for 4 hours (on a good day).
Has anyone else had these problems? Any recommendations?? Thanks in advance!!

Hi @Meg H. I would really recommend you put your pup on a cranberry supplement - which is shown in humans to reduce the occurrence of UTIs.

There are cranberry supplements made for dogs. I use this one on all female puppies I have, until their first season - this is recommended by the super-experienced breeders behind Avidog: https://www.amazon.com/Cranimals-Or...UTF8&qid=1548503747&sr=8-2&keywords=cranimals

(If you're in the UK, it is also available on UK Amazon.)
