Hi all, A few weeks ago, my 3 year old developed what looked like a raised and matted bump on the corner of his eye. After a week or so, the bump felt like a scab underneath and I was able to easily remove the hair with a gentle stroke. The hair had a black sort of material where it had come from the skin. Since then, he has had this red sore that has remained for the last week or two. Any help as what this may be? Many thanks!
Hi there. It sounds like it's time for a trip to the vet. There are a lot of different causes of lumps around eyes, and what we don't want is for you to miss getting treatment for something that might need intervention. Do let us know how you get on at the vet - I do hope they're able to help.
