Hi my almost nine year old Labrador has not been interested in eating his dry kibble for the past couple of days.

When it's been moistened and a bit of cheese or scrambled egg added he's eaten it.

Not showing any signs of illness like sickness or diarrhoea.

Wondering if his teeth causing him problems? Have a vet's appointment on Tuesday to get him checked out but wondered if anyone can relate to this?

Is it common for older dogs to go off dry food due to dental or other issues? Have ready made have less good sense of smell so no longer find it appetising? Do you swap to a wet food?

Thanks in advance. Worried for my boy
