Hello, i have an 18 month old black lab I am keen to start gundog training with. He has been to a trainer a couple of times but when we were still trying to establish basic heel work and recall. My issue is that he has little interest in retrieving, is slightly better at home but outside of that is very distracted by other dogs. The only place he will semi reliably retrieve from is from water. Any ideas?! I’d love to start grade one with him but not sure how to get him going with the retrieve. Thank you!
