Bill is 10 months now. We walk on lead most days with a friend and her 18 month golden retriever. Both boys walk calmly together. However when they are let off for loose play they are really rough, mouthing one another. I guess nothing wrong there... they have 10 to 15 minutes of play and are worn out after it. When will they calm down naturally and just walk together. It would be great to have two dogs lying down peacefully together instead of being crazy all the time.....
In about eight years time if they are anything like the labs and retrievers around here They sounds like they have a great time together, I wouldn't worry about anything.
