Had a lovely time at the beach very early morning, then home for coffee . A friend rang and asked me to pop round for a visit and to take the dogs , she has a fairly high wall in her garden which Sam decided to take a leap of faith from . No cry when he landed, and, being just around the corner, he walked home fine , I have run my hands all over him with no reaction but would rather have him checked out properly as he has gone a bit quiet so off we go in five minutes , oh they are a worry x

Fingers crossed hope he is ok. Why do they do these things to us ? I always worry when they go quiet with my two it's definitely not normal.

Sam is a very very lucky lad , no broken bones, no cracked ribs , heart sound, bladder ok, phew :) Just got to observe his breathing for a few days , laboured breathing could mean a ripped membrane over the diaphragm , but the Vet thinks it very highly unlikely as he amazingly shows no signs of any damage anywhere, glad I had him checked over, would never have slept x

He is usually the cautious one, unlike Millie , and the wall is about 7 ft high , I don't think he will be visitng again if that's what he`s going to do , daft lump ;)

So pleased to hear that Sam is fine. Perhaps he's been a bit quiet because he scared himself jumping off. Special hugs for him today I think.

He went up the steps to the garden with Millie , they usually descend the same way, but for some inexplicable reason, he decided to take a short cut today and jump down to the patio . My friend is mortified but it isn't her fault, if anything its mine :(:(

He seems ok thanks Jacqui , a bit quiet but still managed to do the prewash on the dishwasher ;) Vet says he will most likely be very sore tomorrow but the steroids he has for his pollen allergy will help with any swellings . He`s on smaller walks for a few days too , that will go down well, not :(

Glad he didn't seriously hurt himself. That's a really big drop! Hope he has a good night's rest.
