I'm very excited and a little anxious but I've decided to explore search and rescue training with Edsel. It's been a dream of mine to provide some sort of service with one of my pups and it seems that maybe the time is finally right. I will attend my first training this Saturday. Edsel will not participate for the first 2 or 3 sessions, but will then be evaluated. If we are given the thumbs up, we'll apply for a position with the team and be on a 6 month probationary period while training. After that, there will be a vote to decide if we are approved to continue with training and pursue national certification. I'm sure Edsel will do great, only hope I am up to it. Lori
