Most of you will know already, and I thank you for all your kind words, which have brought comfort. It is with a heavy heart I report the passing of our beloved dog Scooby onTuesday, after a sudden but brief illness. He was a larger than life personality who has left a massive hole in our lives, which will gradually fill with the amazing memories we have of him. He was with us for 10 short months, but it feels like a lifetime. Run free Clootie Dumpling xx P1040616 by Sue Doyle, on Flickr Scooby enjoying the bank holiday weekend by Sue Doyle, on Flickr
Oh no, I am so sorry, I didn't know this. Heartbreaking for you, he looked a lovely boy and obviously had a very happy 10 months judging by the photos.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you must be feeling, And there isn't really anything I can say that will make you feel better, but time will dull the pain and he will be in your hearts forever. He is probably playing at rainbow bridge with Murphy xx
Run free, indeed, darling boy. Too short a time with you - but those photos are of a loved Labrador in doggie heaven, which make me smile and cry for your loss at the same time. The warmest thoughts to you and your family, so sorry you lost him.
So very sorry to hear this - beautiful boy. Those photos show a labrador having the very best of lives though, in the short time he had, and he'll be very fondly remembered xxxxx
We are both absolutely devastated for you, Scooby was just so very, very wonderful. I just don't know what to say, he just had the best life with you xx
Big hugs. He looks so happy in those photos. You gave him a wonderful gift in those ten months, and it sounds like he gave you plenty in return. Run free, Scooby x
Scooby looks so full of life in the photos which is the result of the love and security you gave him. Big hugs to you, run free Scooby xx
Gorgeous photos thank you for sharing, we had our beloved Harvey for 2 years before he passed away after a very short illness. I feel your sadness and send you all the love in the world xxxx
Wonderful photos of a wonderful dog. You must have lovely memories of him which will make you smile and that's the best way to remember happy having fun.
This has been such a dreadfully sudden illness and passing, you must be shocked and exhausted and terribly sad. I have been thinking of Scooby and you. There's nothing more I can say except I feel for you.
He was beautiful and gave you much joy. In time, his memory will bring you happiness. Hugs to you and your family!
I'm so very sorry. My first lab died of what sounds like the same illness, and the sudden nature of it just doesn't leave you time to emotionally prepare. It's heartbreaking. It looks like he was a very happy and loved boy. I hope your memories of him will always bring a smile to you.
